Our Fund Accounting Supervisor role is designed to provide a challenging and rewarding experience for professionals who want to advance their careers in the field of fund accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in business, accounting, or finance, with at least three years of experience working in a hedge fund administration firm.
The primary responsibilities of this role include reviewing cash, position, and market value reconciliations, resolving break items on reconciliations, and reviewing fund pricing, corporate actions, profit and loss reports, income and expense accruals, and fund trial balance. The Fund Accounting Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with HedgeServ defined checklists, procedures, and controls, as well as responding to client queries and assisting in the audit process.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you will need to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence team morale. You will also need to be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
