We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Construction Health and Safety Advisor.

Site Safety Expert

This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being of our workers and stakeholders on major construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and standards, with proven experience in implementing health, safety, and environmental policies.

A key responsibility of this position is conducting regular site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and developing strategies to mitigate them.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and maintaining ISO14001 & ISO45001 certifications, preparing and presenting detailed safety reports, and leading incident investigations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental policies on major construction sites
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards
  • Conducting risk assessments and site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Developing and delivering safety training programs for site personnel
  • Collaborating with main contractors to ensure a cohesive approach to site safety
  • Managing and maintaining ISO14001 & ISO45001 certifications
  • Preparing and presenting detailed safety reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Leading incident investigations and developing strategies to prevent recurrence

Requirements for the role include:

  • Full Driving License: Must hold a valid, full driving license
  • Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • EHS Qualifications: Must possess the required Environmental, Health, and Safety qualifications for working on major construction sites in Ireland
  • Experience with Main Contractors: Proven experience working on projects with main contractors in Ireland is essential
  • ISO Management Experience: Demonstrated experience managing or implementing ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards
