Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Engineer to join our Neurosurgical team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced medical technology and develop innovative solutions that impact patients' lives.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, design practices, and technical requirements for medical devices. They will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, modifying, and verifying components/modules for medical devices under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Researching and translating design inputs into engineering specifications
• Developing and analyzing solutions, prototyping options to provide proof of concept
• Applying fundamental and some advanced concepts, practices, and procedures for problem-solving

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or BioMedical with 2+ years of work experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering practices and design principles
• Technical ability to create engineering drawings and models using GD&T and CAE tools
• Ability to communicate basic plans and technical information to team members
