Role Overview

This position serves as the European Regional Lead for Asset Services, overseeing key operational aspects of the department.

The role includes responsibility for developing and implementing business strategies in support of short- and long-term goals, encompassing IBOR, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, and ETF service & Operations groups.

Main Responsibilities

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises a team. Provides guidance and training to develop crew members. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Develops and oversees strategic operational planning to ensure the department meets operational objectives.
  • Establishes leads and executes short- and long-term goals.
  • Drives strategic and operational plans to meet departmental objectives.
  • Leverages market awareness to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Manages and owns key initiatives. Contributes to departmental business planning and budget development.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders across the department and division to determine growth objectives and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years related work experience, with at least 7 years of financial services or Investment operations experience. Supervisory experience expected.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or finance degree preferred. Graduate degree preferred.
  • CFA or other financial designation preferred.
