We are seeking a talented Water Treatment Plant Engineer to join our team at EPS Group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure.

You will support the design team through the process up to and including the onsite installation and commissioning phase. A highly varied, challenging role providing invaluable exposure to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams to support troubleshooting and system integration
  • Complete electrical design review to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in specifications
  • Validate cable sizing and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Compile and issue technical submittals
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes (NSAI Irish Standard IEC, WIMES), safety regulations, and environmental standards

Qualifications:

  • Third level Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Similar relevant third level qualification and experience will be considered
