Job Title: Resident Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Resident Engineer to join our team in the renewable energy sector.

Description:

The Resident Engineer will provide technical support and advice during the development, pre-construction, and construction phases of wind projects. This includes performing quality control and on-site health and safety assessments, managing tasks of the Owner's Engineer, conducting site inspections, ensuring quality control of built/functional installations, creating and maintaining reports, and regular presence on site.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical expertise during project development, pre-construction, and construction phases.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control and on-site health and safety assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Task Management: Manage tasks of the Owner's Engineer to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality control of built/functional installations to meet industry standards.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain reports to track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical engineering.
  • Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the renewable energy industry.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Supervisory Experience: Possess supervisory experience in a construction environment.
  • Knowledge: Have good knowledge of various construction documents, including risk assessments, method statements, and project fault list management.
