About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a centre manager at the North Mayo Heritage Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the centre's daily operations, including staff and volunteer management, initiative development, and financial oversight.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the centre's daily operations, ensuring effective management and liaison with partners and stakeholders
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers, promoting collaboration and effective line management
  • Develop and implement new initiatives and services, enhancing the centre's offerings and community impact
  • Ensure effective financial management, partnering with the Board of Directors to achieve the centre's goals
  • Compile business plans and funding applications to support the centre's growth and development
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Directors, aligned with the centre's objectives

Key Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in managing staff and leading teams
  • Experience working in a community setting, with a strong understanding of community needs
  • Excellent financial management, IT, and communication skills
  • Flexibility and self-motivation, with a focus on delivering results
  • Strong people and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary and Benefits
