Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

">Job Description:
  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to coordinate the purchasing and inventory management of our retail parts and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering customer calls and relaying messages in a professional and courteous manner
  • Setting up visually appealing displays of retail parts and accessories
  • Addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Providing expert advice on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
  • Handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Identifying, labeling, and cataloguing received items
  • Issuing and distributing parts and supplies for internal use
  • Maintaining accurate records on the inventory control system
  • Preparing and tracking work orders
  • Preparing requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
  • Processing incoming requisitions
  • Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming parts, supplies, and materials
  • Selling spare and replacement parts
  • Shipping, delivering, or picking up parts, products, or equipment
  • Storing items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area
Qualifications:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience an asset but not necessary
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: WHMIS Certificate
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
  • Parts Specialization: Automobile, Construction machinery, Heavy equipment, Recreation vehicle, Snowmobile
