Compliance Accountant Role
  • This position entails overseeing a portfolio of clients requiring sole trader account preparation and review, as well as the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Monthly management accounts are to be prepared.
  • Tax and general consulting support will be provided for clients.
  • The general management of client portfolios and provision of ad-hoc assistance as required is expected.
  • Commercial unit management support will also be provided.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • A qualified accountant with +3 years' experience in a busy accounting environment is required.
  • Prior practice experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent technical/analytical and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail, are necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Flexibility and team player skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently, taking work to completion stage for partner/manager review, is vital.
  • A full clean driver's license is desirable due to client premises travel requirements.
