This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of electrical projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, estimators, quantity surveyors, sub-contractors, engineers, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure that all tasks are completed according to plans and scheduling criteria.
- Communicating with clients to keep them informed of project status and potential issues.
- Planning and management of personnel on site and tracking and reporting on progress and production/output levels.
- Carry out the necessary design reviews to ensure that installations are fit for purpose. Complete VE process in conjunction with Engineering team.
- Oversee the contracting process with chosen sub-contractors and ensuring all works are carried out correctly and as per contract and specification.
- Manage and report all project financial elements in conjunction with commercial department. Close out project successfully and to budgeted profit levels.
- Managing the bidding process for projects to ensure that they adhere to company standards.
- Ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes and practices.
- Attendance at all projects related and management meetings. Host and record internal project team reviews/Meetings and review with Ops Director.
- Carry out surveys of installations and report accordingly.
- Ensure that Inspection, testing, commissioning and witnessing plans are designed and implemented in line with project specific requirements.
- Preparing detailed project plans and schedules for to follow.
- Evaluate overall project performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards.
- Procurement of subcontract, plant and materials in conjunction with the procurement department. Take full responsibility for achieving commercial buying targets.
- Ensure subcontract/plant scopes are prepared to ensure that there are no grey areas in the package and to ensure that risks are offset.
- Liaise with client & management team on an ongoing basis to ensure scope of works is delivered & shareholders requirement are met.
- Issue Management and clients with project progress reports on a regular basis and attend management project review meetings.
- Be responsible for implementing Tritech Group Health and Safety Procedures, and reporting to the Company's Head of Health and Safety as required.
- Familiar with Modern Methods of Construction, Lean construction and sustainable/ Environmentally friendly installation solutions.
- A relevant third level qualification in Building Services Engineering or similar qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a contracting environment essential.
- Proven ability of managing and delivering of large projects.
- Good Leadership Skills to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent IT and Technical Skills.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
