Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, housekeeping, and guest services.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, operational policies, and financial guidelines.
  • Monitor and control budgets, expenses, and resources to optimise cost efficiency.
  • Work alongside volunteers by delegating tasks, providing training, and fostering a positive environment.
  • Oversee repairs, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades, coordinating with vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold high standards in facility safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, community members, and stakeholders to strengthen the organisation's reputation and impact.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services, such as hosting events, workshops, and activities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in facilities management, hospitality, and customer service.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using software applications for operational management, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
  • Previous experience working with and/or managing volunteers.
  • A clean driver's license and own transport – essential.
