About the Position:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as a skilled vehicle technician, boasting a solid background in motor servicing and diagnostics. They must be capable of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as specified on the job card, adhering to industry standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with parts department and workshop manager to obtain necessary components and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Detect malfunctions and perform repairs after obtaining customer authorization.
  • Accurately record work performed, including warranty and safety checks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with technical bulletins and factory-sponsored courses.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience as a qualified motor technician.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain additional work required to service advisors or customers.
  • Previous experience working with ADP/Kerridge environment is an advantage.
