Cervical Screening Scientist

\Job Description\
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cervical Screening Scientist to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, preparing and analysing cervical screening samples for HPV DNA/RNA testing.
\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Ensure all lab instruments are functioning correctly; troubleshoot and report malfunctions.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 15189 standards and participate in internal/external audits.
  • Accurately record and report test results to clinicians and national screening databases.
\Requirements:\
  • Bachelor of Science in Medical Science or Biomedical Science from an approved Irish institution.
  • CORU Registration is mandatory.
  • Must be a resident in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
