About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Upscale Dining Expert to join our culinary team in Cork City Centre. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest gastronomic standards.
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop innovative menus and new recipes.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills.
- Ensuring efficient stock rotation, ordering, and waste control processes.
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that exceed customer expectations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Upscale Dining Expert in a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate the culinary team.
