We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Amgen SA. The successful candidate will provide technical oversight to internal engineers and discipline leads from architecture and engineering (A&E) firms, as well as suppliers of process equipment.

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for reviewing all equipment design provided by suppliers, delivering design specs, and detailed design reports as part of Amgen's integrated project delivery approach. This position is part of the Engineering Technical Authority organization within Amgen Corporate Engineering.

Responsibilities:
  1. Planning: Translate business needs into engineering technology and design solutions, leading analysis of alternatives and recommendations for technical solutions in major projects.
  2. Design: Support design and equipment selection of process equipment, building systems to optimize quality and cost across the total life cycle of assets. Ensure appropriate use of technology, adherence to standards/practices, and approve exceptions to Amgen standards and specifications.
  3. Construction: Provide engineering support during construction, resolve technical issues, and ensure project objectives are met. Develop and implement commissioning standards during system qualification.
  4. Operations and Maintenance: Assist sites in troubleshooting, remediation to prevent future occurrence throughout the network, and support the implementation of sustainable and digital solutions to advance performance.
