Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Retail Assistant to join our team in Ballina, Co. Mayo. As a key member of the retail team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the business.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting customers in choosing products
  • Selling to both retail and trade customers
  • Preparing quotations
  • Working closely with the warehouse and dealing with suppliers
  • Utilizing in-house software to streamline processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of retail experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focused with a passion for delivering exceptional results
  • Highly motivated and innovative with a strong work ethic
  • Able to work as part of a team and maintain effective relationships
  • Computer proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook
