Job Description
This Support Worker role is a key position in our organization, requiring a skilled and compassionate individual who can make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized support to enable individuals to develop or improve their independent living skills, adhering to person-centered plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual and group support programs, in collaboration with team leaders.
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment by working effectively with colleagues to resolve conflicts and challenging behaviors.
- Ensure medication is stored and administered according to Praxis Care's Medication Policy, where necessary.
- Accurately record and log relevant information, adhering to administrative requirements of the service.
- Stay informed about policies and procedures within the service, including Health & Safety guidelines, and participate in related training.
Key Requirements
- Participate in regular performance reviews and staff appraisals.
- Embodi the company values, behaviors, and competencies at all times.
- Cary out duties according to Praxis expectations, regulations, and policies.
- Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service.
