Community Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Community Care Professional to join our team and provide exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work in a dynamic and reputable organization, providing residential and day services across Dublin and Wicklow.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with service users to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This will involve developing personalized care plans, providing training and education, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and support services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of service users.
  • Provide training and education to service users on various topics, including daily living skills and independence.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
  • Contribute to the development and review of care plans, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification and live register membership (RNID qualification desirable).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and service users.
  • Strong team-working skills, with the ability to contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Full driving license and eligibility to work in Ireland.
