· IDC registration is required.

· Team consists of general dentists, specialists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and support staff.

· Strong established patient books – young professional cohort, no medical cards.

*Clinical Requirements*
* Scaling and root planning: this is where you will carefully clean the teeth to remove any plaque. This is to remove any toxins that are harmful to patients' health.

Periodontists may also fit dental implants, to replace missing teeth. The types of implants include:
* an endosteal implant - this is where you will surgically place screws and cylinders into the bone to hold one or more teeth in place.
* a subperiosteal implant - this is an implant that is placed on the bone and can be used for people who cannot wear a denture.
* Gum graft surgery: this is where you will repair the roots of the teeth. This is done by taking some gum tissue from the palate and using it to cover the exposed area.
* Pocket reduction procedure: this is where you will fold back the gum tissue and remove the bacteria in the tooth.
