The Role: Critical & DiverseIn this key position, you will be a Production Electrician trained to work across critical electrical roles within our production and finishing processes. This role requires shift work with fixed schedules. Your diverse and vital tasks will include:Connecting cable and control boxes on large units.Electrically testing transformers to high customer specification, including testing according to ISO 17025.Cable joining and termination.Fault finding and diagnosis, following production schematics.Inspecting and testing electrical systems.Occasional working with maintenance and visiting customer site.Electricians operate from our factory environment.Desired Skills & QualitiesThe ideal candidate will be a Qualified Electrician who possesses:Experience with schematics.Experience in the use of testing equipment and hand tools.Demonstrated organizational skills.Experience working at heights.Normal colour vision.Ability to carry out shift work and manual work.Strong safety ethic and a proactive work attitude.Good teamwork and communication skills.Enjoys working on own initiative as well as interacting with others.What We Offer YouOur client are a cornerstone employer in their region, committed to fostering a supportive yet challenging work environment underpinned by the values of integrity, trust, and respect.
