About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care according to residents' care plans.Understand residents' needs and provide companionship.Assist with mobility and personal hygiene, ensuring dignity.Support residents with eating, drinking, and achieving comfort.Participate in and help organise social activities.Maintain effective communication with families and colleagues.Adhere to relevant policies and procedures.

Contract & Benefits

Type: Full-time, permanentShifts: Day and night (flexibility required)Salary: €13.50 - €14.50 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:

Must possess EU citizenshipQQI Level 5 or equivalent i.e. Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Social Care, Special Needs, Nursing Care Technician, Technician in Care for People, Support Worker, Psychology, and/or Nurse qualificationsExperience in elderly care is desirableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instructions and proceduresExcellent organisational and observation skillsA professional, caring, and compassionate natureAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team
