QA Test Lead

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced QA Test Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the management of the day to day test activities to deliver Quality Assurance of software implementations for new and existing projects. The test team will consist of manual testers and they will actively participate in the testing and quality assurance of the product, interfaces, integration and business process testing with surround systems.

The purpose of this role is to lead and mentor a team of test analysts throughout the software testing life cycle (STLC); creating test schedules, allocating tasks, supervising daily and tracking progress. The QA Team Lead will be expected to provide reports and escalate risks and issues to the Test Manager.

QA Test Lead – Key Skills:

3+ years' experience leading QA teamsProven experience working in a lead role in an offshore modelStrong leadership and management skillsMeticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Understanding and experience of working in SDLC modelStrong reporting skills; weekly & daily reporting, ALM reporting, progress and issue identification reports Proven experience coaching and motivating a teamHighly experienced in test analysis and designALM Experience: Focus on reporting and tracking and use of Dashboard optionsSQL server query scripting skillsStrong MS Office skills; in particular Excel and WordExperience with UK Financial Services would be very preferable
