Tax Manager/ Director | Growing Firm | Newly Created Role | Remote Working | Co. Galway The Client – Our client has experienced significant growth in recent years and is looking for a motivated Tax Manager/ Director to join their expanding team.  The role The role of the Tax Manager/ Director will involve working closely with partners with a high level of consultancy activity and tax advisory work.  Responsibilities will include – Delivering the firm's compliance services for a portfolio of personal tax and corporate clients Reviewing audit files for tax points and identifying/advising on tax planning opportunities Acting as a client contact in relation to tax matters and maintaining/developing client relationships Completion of consultancy assignments and participating in other ad-hoc advisory projects This practice provides a strong work/life balance and competitive remuneration will reflect previous experience and qualifications.  What is on offer – Competitive salary Pension Healthcare Life assurance Phone/ laptop This position can be full time or part time and can be based remotely also About you – You will be self-motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and have the ability to plan, control and complete tax advice for a portfolio of clients. You might be working in a larger firm and looking for better work/ life balance or maybe a fully remote position. AITI/CTA/CTC qualified with a minimum of 5 years of experience Good technical knowledge of tax legislation and previous exposure to corporation tax Capable of working independently and have a proven track record for service excellence Proficient in Excel and Word with good IT skills
