Were now seeking a dedicated and experienced Crèche Manager to lead our Glebelands team with passion, professionalism, and positivity. The Role As Crèche Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the centre, leading a team of early years educators to deliver exceptional standards of care and education. You will ensure full compliance with Tusla regulations and promote best practice in line with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated childcare professional who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our local community. Roles and Responsibilities Lead and support the team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care and education. Ensure compliance with Tusla regulations, Aistear, and Síolta frameworks. Manage daily operations including staffing, rosters, and record-keeping. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children. Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies. Oversee curriculum planning, observations, and developmental progress. Promote best practice in safeguarding, health, and safety at all times. Support staff training, development, and performance management. The successful candidate must have A minimum Level 8 qualification (QQI or equivalent) in Early Childhood Care and Education. At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience in an early years setting. Strong knowledge of Tusla Early Years Regulations, Aistear, and Síolta frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A passion for early childhood education and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred care. The ability to support, motivate, and guide a team in a positive and professional manner. A thorough understanding of Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children. Up-to-date First Aid, Manual Handling, and Child Protection training (or willingness to complete if required). Hours 40 Job Location Athy, Co Kildare Qualification Level Minimum QQI/Fetac Level 8
