Audit Manager – Co. Wexford

The Role

Our client, a leading firm in Wexford, is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join their Audit & Assurance department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to take on a leadership role within a growing team.

As Audit Manager, you will:

Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industries. Take responsibility for successfully delivering audit and accounting engagements within agreed timelines, ensuring seamless client and team communications. Plan the execution and finalisation of audit assignments while maintaining the highest standards. Lead, manage, motivate, and coach members of the audit team to ensure excellence and career development. Build and maintain proactive working relationships with clients, ensuring year-round engagement and satisfaction, not just during the audit process. Research and resolve technical queries from clients. Deliver top-quality auditing services that meet or exceed client expectations. Oversee the successful completion of audit engagements from start to finish.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

ACA or ACCA qualifications. 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Previous supervisory, team lead, or managerial experience. A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. Excellent attention to detail and strong technical skills. Awareness of business trends and emerging industry developments. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines effectively. A self-starter mindset with the ability to critically assess and analyse information.
