The TELUS Health finance team is one of TELUS Health's fastest-growing region and as Director of Finance for our EMEA Employer Finance Business Partner team, you will be the strategic advisor that commercial and operational leaders turn to when the stakes are high.This is not your typical finance role. You will be working across multiple time zones, bridging established European teams with newly acquired entities on their integration journey. From signing off on statutory statements as the Regional Health Finance Lead to translating local GAAP to IFRS, you'll navigate complexity with confidence. Working side-by-side with our Dublin-based Regional Business Lead, you'll shape financial outcomes that matter—not just for EMEA, but for the entire TELUS Health organization.You'll lead a remote team across continents, challenge assumptions, drive continuous improvement, and turn financial insights into strategic decisions that fuel our expansion in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.What You'll DoLead with ImpactGuide and energize finance team members across time zones, driving excellence in daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial activitiesAct as the Regional Health Finance Lead, signing off on statutory statements for tax and compliance across the EMEA regionBuild and develop a high-performing remote team spanning multiple countries and culturesBe the Strategic PartnerPartner with European teams—from well-established operations to newly acquired entities—guiding them through integration, financial walk-throughs, and policy alignmentTranslate financial complexity into clarity: bridge local GAAP to IFRS, highlight risks and opportunities, and influence critical business decisionsCollaborate directly with regional business leaders to optimize financial performance and drive growthDrive Financial ExcellenceOwn the annual Strategic Check and Budget process for EMEA Employer, including detailed driver analysis and reconciliationsConsolidate EMEA financial results and KPIs, delivering insights that shape leadership decisionsMaster revenue forecasting and gross margin analysis—understanding customer contracts, pricing strategies, and product lifecyclesEvaluate sales incentive payouts, review RFPs, and analyze direct costs for complete margin visibilityManage the BusinessNavigate all cost drivers: salaries, benefits, headcount, travel, data processing, and third-party expensesDeliver monthly P&L reporting with sharp variance analysis and clear communication of risks vs. planSupport AR, Collections, AP, and Cash Applications teams while maintaining strong relationships with North American centers of excellenceMonitor and sign-off on internal controls as part of the Health SOX programShape the FutureProvide financial analysis for new initiatives, products, and contractsBuild pricing models and business cases, including discounted cash flow analysisParticipate in M&A and divestiture analysis as opportunities ariseConduct ad-hoc analysis that drives business-critical decisionsWhat You BringEducation/Experience:Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or EconomicsCPA or CA designation preferred8-10 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in an FP&A leadership roleStrong command of IFRS accounting policiesSkills That Set You Apart:Strategic Partnership: You're the finance leader that senior executives seek out for decision supportAnalytical Excellence: You don't just crunch numbers—you translate data into actionable insights and compelling storiesTechnical Mastery: Advanced Excel/Access skills, experience with ERP systems (SAP, Workday), and the ability to create polished, graphical presentationsFinancial Modeling: You build sophisticated models and business cases with confidenceRelationship Builder: You create trust across all organizational levels, from C-suite to junior staffCross-Functional Collaborator: You work seamlessly with Taxation, Treasury, Marketing, Corporate Development, and other teamsAgile Learner: You synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise summariesDeadline Warrior: You thrive under pressure, manage competing priorities, and never compromise on qualityWhat Makes You Exceptional?You challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvementYou're reliable, consistent, flexible, and adaptableYou openly share information and actively seek feedbackYou're dedicated to improving both profits and processesYou see complexity as an opportunity, not an obstacleReady to make your mark on a fast-growing global region?
