This is a FTC 12 role and can offer an immediate start.Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with the wider finance team. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and managing key financial processes. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet controls, and cash flowPresentation of financial information at management meetingsPreparation of financial statements and year-end audit filesLiaising with auditors and supporting the year-end audit processCoordination of AGM preparationsManagement of foreign exchange requirements and grower loan accountsAdministration of operational programmes in line with Producer Organisation regulationsPreparation of EU assistance claims and audit documentationSupport for Department of Agriculture auditsOversight of operating procedures and ensuringplianceSupport for accounts payable, receivable, and banking functionsBuilding relationships with members, board, auditors, consultants, and suppliersAd hoc reporting and tasks as directed by the CEO or Finance ManagerWhat you'll need to succeed
A relevant third-level qualificationPart-qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 2 years of accounting experienceStrong Microsoft Excel and general IT skillsExcellentmunication and organisational abilitiesFull clean driving licenceAbility to work on-site in Co. MonaghanWhat you'll get in return
