Principal AWS Architect 198196 Desired skills: Principal AWS Architect, Contract, Cloud Principal AWS ArchitectContract: 12 months Location: Hybrid - Dublin City Centre Daily Rate: Market RateAs a Principal AWS Architect, you will lead cloud architecture direction, own end-to-end solution design, and provide senior technical leadership across enterprise client engagements.Role OverviewDefine cloud strategy, target architectures, and technology roadmaps.Lead the design of scalable, secure AWS solutions aligned to business objectives.Oversee architectural governance, technical delivery, and solution quality.Develop migration strategies, implementation plans, and architectural blueprints.Mentor engineering teams and support capability development.Shape solutions during sales/presales cycles, including estimation and technical input.Provide expert guidance across performance, security, and operational excellence.RequirementsSignificant experience in cloud and software architecture, ideally in large-scale environments.Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures.Broad technical knowledge across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security.Hands-on experience with React/Angular, Docker, and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of integration patterns (API-led, event-driven) and Java/.NET ecosystems.Familiarity with cloud adoption frameworks, security best practices, and operational models.Excellent stakeholder management and proposal/presales experience.Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, TOGAF, preferred.Additional Information Immediate interviews available.
