PowerBI Developer

Overview eirevo talent are seeking applications for a PowerBI Developer, this is a long-term day rate contract, the role is remote with occasional visits to the client site.Requirements: Experience in creating PowerBI reports and dashboards, using data from a range of sources, including data management or transformation for use in PowerBI. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary project team and working directly with report users to understand their specific requirements and translate them into PowerBI reports or dashboards. Experience in applying Microsoft best practice or centre of excellence guidance to the development of PowerBI templates and reports, including adherance to all web accessibility guidelines. Set up the development and production workspaces and apply the appropriate user permissions Build the data model for the report Diagnose any data quality or structure issues to be resolved before the report can be built Create the measures Develop the report in a development workspace while working directly with the business teams, interacting via a dedicated PowerBI project channel on MS Teams Work through the testing phase with business teams, acting on their feedback and resolving any issues Finalise the report and move to the production workspace Implement a data refresh cycle that meets business user needs while not consuming more resources that are required Complete technical documentation to enable ongoing support and maintenance of the report   If you are interested in applying for this role, please do so via the relevant link.
