Senior Planner - Construction Contractor - DublinOffice/Project Location: DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office & Site BasedPay: €60K - 80K, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.Experience: 5+yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a Main Construction Contractor with buildings projects in Dublin and nationwide.The role involves the preparation of pre-tender, tender and post-tender submission documentation such as critical path programmes, project execution plans, flow charts and labour histograms. The Planner assists the management teams with the production of comprehensive contract programmes and project schedules, along with regular project progress reports and analysis, the preparation of site target and look ahead programmes, as well as reviewing and advising on subcontractor programmes and their incorporation into the Company’s construction programme.The successful candidate will work independently and in multidisciplinary teams and will provide training and technical support on the planning software and other systems.Conducting site visits to look at progress & drawings as requiredAssist the site management teams with the contracts & project schedulesMaintain project progress reports & analysisProduce projections, variance reports, and other documentation to monitor and manage projectsImplement tracking schedules as required to maintain information and control the production of programs by the subcontractorsProvide accurate position information to the program manager on a regular basisRequirementsAppropriate professional qualifications, ideally in engineering6+ years relevant planning experience gained in the construction industry across a broad range of project types, buildings, residential apartments, offices, hotels etcExcellent IT systems knowledge, including experience in programming software such as P6, MS ProjectExcellent attention to detail.Ability to work on own initiative.Ability to work to tight deadlines.Package€60K-€80K negotiable based on experience & qualifications
