Job description

Are you a confident communicator with strong sales instincts and a passion for the food industry? We are looking for a driven Tele Sales Executive to join a busy, customer-focused sales team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Limerick.

The company is a family-owned Irish wholesale food supplier and distributor. Partnering with trusted local and international producers, they cater to a diverse client base, including hospitality, catering, health care, education, and retail sectors. With a strong focus on reliability and customer satisfaction, their dedicated team and fleet ensure efficient and high-quality service tailored to meet the needs of their customers.

The team values enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong customer service, and they are now looking for the right person to help them grow even further.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to an existing client list to take daily and weekly orders;Up-sell and introduce new product lines to customers;Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and friendly service;Work closely with field sales reps and other departments to ensure seamless service;Identify sales opportunities and meet personal and team sales targets;Keep accurate records of calls, orders, and customer interactions in the system;Provide feedback on customer trends, needs, and competitor activity.

Benefits

Criteria

Previous experience in tele sales or customer service within the food industry;Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner;Confidence in up-selling and promoting new products;Solid IT skills for managing orders and updating customer records.
