Person in Charge – Nurse-Led Units - Sligo Permanent | Full-Time | Co. SligoAre you an experienced nurse leader looking for the next step in your career?We are recruiting a Person in Charge (PIC) for one of our expanding nurse-led services supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities across Co. Sligo.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organization and lead a high-quality, person-centered service with strong multidisciplinary support.About the RoleAs Person in Charge, you will:Lead and manage the effective delivery of our nurse-led services.Ensure full compliance with HIQA Standards and Department of Health Regulations.Work autonomously while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Provide guidance, supervision, and leadership to the care team.Support service users through high-quality, person-centred care and robust care planning.Oversee documentation, reporting, audits, and quality assurance processes.Play a key role in training, development, and onboarding of new team members.Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.Participate in the on-call rota as required.Essential CriteriaTo be considered, you must have:Level 7 Degree in Nursing and active NMBI registration.Minimum 3 years’ management or supervisory experience in health or social care.Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities (highly desirable).Level 6 Management qualification (or willingness to complete—supported by the company).Proven experience managing services to quality and regulatory standards.Full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary with incremental pay scaleSupernumerary PIC roleAllowance + bonus optionCompany pensionOn-call allowanceEnhanced Maternity AllowanceIncome Protection SchemePaid training at commencementAccess to a knowledgeable Multidisciplinary TeamExcellent staffing ratiosEAP ProgrammeClear focus on career progression and developmentBike to Work SchemeInterested?If you are a motivated nurse leader passionate about providing exceptional care, we would love to hear from you.
