Key Responsibilities:


Schedule and allocate deliveries to drivers using the most efficient routes and resources Assign customer sales orders and confirm delivery slots with accuracy Communicate proactively with drivers and internal departments to meet delivery deadlines Liaise with sales and customer service teams to resolve any potential delivery delays Create and maintain delivery schedules and performance reports Use transport systems to manage bookings, route planning, and live updates Ensure accurate record-keeping and quick access to delivery information when required Identify and implement process improvements to optimise transport operations Support compliance with all transport regulations and safety procedures Maintain a strong level of customer care and team collaboration Key requirements
Previous experience in a Transport Planner or logistics coordination role Strong knowledge of transport operations within Ireland Excellent IT skills, confident using digital planning systems and software Familiarity with transport regulations and industry standards Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines A proactive, solutions-focused mindset Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Flexible approach to shift patterns and business needs On offer
