Mid-Level Software Engineer - .NET/C#

� Salary: €60,000 - €75,000 (DOE)

About the Role

A rapidly growing global tech company is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with strong experience in .NET Core and C# to join their development team in Dublin. This role is focused on building robust backend services and APIs as part of a high-performing team delivering scalable, secure, enterprise-grade software.

You'll be working on modern cloud-based applications, contributing to architecture, design, development, and maintenance of backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C#Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following software engineering best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and ProductParticipate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharingSupport continuous integration and deployment processesTroubleshoot and debug application issues in cloud and on-prem environments

Key Skills & Experience

3+ years' experience in software development using C# and .NET (Core/.NET 6+)Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementationExperience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL ServerFamiliarity with cloud platforms, ideally Azure or AWSComfortable working in Windows and Linux environmentsUnderstanding of OOP principles and common design patternsProficiency in version control tools such as Git

Desirable (Bonus) Skills

Experience with scripting (PowerShell or Bash)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExposure to containerisation tools like DockerPerformance tuning and application monitoring
