Staff Required: Director of Nursing Location: Youghal, Co. Cork Details: This is a clinical and people management position. The post holder will become the Person in Charge (PIC) of a residential care facility for Older People, including compliance with HIQA regulations. Hours: hours per week. HSE principles for extended working day/week framework, to enable provision of services to patients on 5/7 basis, apply to this position. Start Date: Immediate Timeframe: Short-term (reviewed weekly) Eligibility Criteria: Registered in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] - (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann). Minimum of 5 years management experience. 10 years post registration nursing experience consisting of at least three years’ experience nursing older people in the last six years. Management qualification in health or social care management at a minimum of Level 8 on the NFQ.
