About the Role: 

Flogas is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People Team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will support the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the business, ensuring the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist will play a key role in employee lifecycle activities and employee relations, while contributing to key HR initiatives that align with our People Strategy. This role will operate on a hybrid model and will be based out of our brand new offices at Dublin Airport Central.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contracts, performance management, probations, and exits. 
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies and resolving employee relations issues in line with Flogas policies and employment legislation.   
  • Assist the wider people team in driving employee engagement initiatives. 
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, including conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and advising people managers. 
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and process improvements. 
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. 
  • Organise and promote well-being programmes, mental health resources, and team-building activities to support a healthy and motivated workforce. 
  • Stay updated on employment law and best practices to ensure compliance and advise on necessary adjustments. 
  • Foster positive relationships between employees and management to promote a cohesive and productive workplace culture. 

 

Candidate profile: 

The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level HR qualification, with 2+ years of experience in a similar HR role. CIPD membership or working towards it is desirable. 

They will possess strong knowledge of employment law in ROI and NI, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office is essential, alongside the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. A strong focus on confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation will be key to success in this role.
