HPLC QC Analyst - 24/7 Shift - Dun Laoghaire, DublinOffice/Project Location:Dun Laoghaire, DublinEmployment Type: ContractWork Location: OnsitePay: €30 - €45 per hourExperience: 5+ years Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading international Biotechnology company with a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin. The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment. This is an excellent opportunity to get experience into Ireland's leading aseptic manufacturing plant.Testing of in process, stability and finished product samples. eg HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF analytical testing, characterization and sample and data management.Review and authorisation of Lab DataSupport Analytical Technical Transfer activity testing reports and documentation.Document review/updates when required.Equipment Calibration, Maintenance and Trouble Shooting.Method Validation/Verification.Training of QC Chemistry Laboratory colleagues.Laboratory Investigation supportLaboratory Housekeeping and maintaining GMP standards.Assisting in regulatory audits.RequirementsHold a third level qualification (Degree/Diploma) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology Biotechnology or similar Scientific Subject.Have at least 5 years relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.In-depth HPLC experience with Empower SoftwareExperience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF testing would also be advantageousSome protein concentration testing backgroundStrong GMP lab environment experienceSolid troubleshooting examples—past hires have found this challenging, so candidates who can show problem-solving in action will stand outConfident decision-makers, especially on night shifts when management isn’t presentBe very proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel etc.Have strong technical writing skills.Be detail oriented, self motivated with good troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.Be a self starter and capable of working on own initiative.Strong team work skills.PackageContract role - Hourly rate €30 - €45 per hourMinimum 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension. Onsite frequency: Fully onsite role24/7 shift roles, with 35% shift premiumSchedule: Two 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:00), two 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00), followed by four days off; then repeat
