Your focus will be hands-on software development using C# / .NET, alongside consulting with clients to help shape the technical direction of projects.Responsibilities:Design, build and maintain applications leveraging C# and the .NET framework.Develop robust (MVC / Web API) solutions for client consumptionBuild and consume microservices and multi-bus message-based integration (service bus, messaging frameworks)Perform large data transformations, data service extracts, integration with SQL databases and data reportingImplement orchestration and transformation patterns (., workflow, message orchestration)Write clean, unit-tested, well-documented code and follow continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) practicesCollaborate with broader Microsoft-technology stack (., Microsoft SQL Server, Azure services)Provide senior technical presence within the team; assist with escalations, mentor others and influence best-practice guidelinesRequirements:Strong commercial experience in .NET / C# development (, Web API)Proficiency in JavaScript and SQL (T-SQL)Experience in team-based development and providing senior/lead presenceSignificant exposure to data transformations/integrations (extracts, reports, services)Experience in multi-bus messaging system development and/or message-oriented middlewareMicroservices architecture and orchestration experienceSolid CI/CD and unit testing experienceGood working knowledge of the wider Microsoft technology stack (., Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, Azure Functions, Desirable:Experience modernising legacy .NET applications to newer .NET versions or cloud-native patternsFamiliarity with Azure (or AWS) cloud servicesExperience with containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)Good documentation skills focused on end-user/consumer documentationBenefits:Employee discount schemeGym membership supportBike-to-work schemeOpportunity for professional development and career progression Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
