Staffline Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join a well-established global distributor based in Dublin City Centre.The successful candidate will have experience in purchasing, inventory management, or stock control who has a growth mindset, keen attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn, improve, and contribute to the success of the business.Role Purpose In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the purchasing function, while also identifying and implementing process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage purchase orders, requisitions, and acknowledgementsEnsure timely delivery and accurate receipt of goodsMaintain and update SAP Item Master Data, including pricingRun MRP to ensure optimal stock levels are maintainedInvestigate and resolve delivery discrepancies and shipping errorsCo-ordinate customs clearance where requiredConduct purchase and stock analysis with regular reportingBuild and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teamsRequirementsMinimum 1-2 years' experience in a purchasing, logistics, or inventory-focused roleExcellent MS Office skills, experience with SAP an advantage but not essentialStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent administrative skills with exceptional attention to detailCustomer-focused approach, both internally and externallyAnalytical mindset with the ability to identify trendsFlexible and adaptable approach to workThis permanent position will offer a salary in the region of €30,000 - €32,000 depending on experience along with benefits.Why Choose Staffline Ireland?
