Reperio has partnered with a public sector organisation seeking an experienced Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator for a long-term contract role. The position involves migrating an internal application from MS Access to PostgreSQL and supporting the development of a web-based front end.

Responsibilities:

Lead database migration and modernisation effortsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a secure, optimised solutionSupport front-end development of the new web interfaceMaintain clear technical documentationEnsure best practices in backup, recovery, and database performance

Requirements:

6+ years' experience with PostgreSQL and SQLSolid knowledge of Linux and scriptingExperience with web UI developmentStrong database design, security, and optimisation skillsDegree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.
