Our client,

an award-winning engineering consultancy renowned for delivering excellence in design and project management across a range of sectors, from infrastructure to energy, are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Limerick.

The Role

The Senior Engineer will lead a team for the design of wide selection of projects in Ireland and Overseas. They will assist in the preperation of high quality engineering design for across commercial, healthcare, industrial and residential projects.

Requirements

Ideally 5 plus years' post-graduate experience in the design and management of structural/ civil engineering projects.Chartered or working towards Chartered status.A broad experience of working independently, with experience in structural, civil, renewables, civil infrastructure, design, and construction supervision.Current experience of leading, managing and running, structural/civil engineering design projects across a number of market sectorsEmerging leadership skills, including skills in business development, client relationship management, technical leadership, team building and motivation.Strong technical ability in all aspects of their field of EngineeringExcellent understanding of Eurocodes, Steel and Concrete design and the use of SCIA (or similar) analysis softwareA good communicator with the ability to work well with others.The ability to manage varying sized projects for different client types.Requires an excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to meet strict deadlines.Experience in design and build projects an advantage.
