About the Role and the Team:This team manages petabytes of data that are processed, queried, visualized, and analyzed at scale. The Data & Metrics group builds and maintains a secure, highly available, fully automated, cloud-native platform for both online and offline analytics using modern Data Mesh architecture.If you're passionate about building data applications and products that support thousands of internal users and reach millions externally, this role offers an exciting opportunity. We're looking for self-motivated professionals with a strong interest in design and development. Experience with Java, data structures, object-oriented programming, and big data technologies or open-source contributions will be a strong advantage.What You Will Accomplish:Independently design comprehensive technical solutions for complex business challenges and mentor team members on implementation.Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and high-quality product delivery.Define, design, and promote best practices that support a scalable, forward-thinking data environment.Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.Drive innovation, encourage creative thinking, and help foster a high-energy, solution-oriented team culture.​Skill and experience:BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in big data or machine learning.Ambitious and excellent problem-solving skills.Deep insights into software languages such as Java or Python; web-development skills and middlewares like Spring Boot; databases, caches; and Big Data technologies like Hadoop/Spark/Flink/Kafka.Clean coding habits, attention to detail, and a focus on quality and best practices.Strong oral and written communication skills in English.Experience contributing to open source is a plus.Experience working in a multinational company is a plus. ​#LI-SO3#CplTechnology22
