AIM support Position

Early Scholars are recruiting an AIM support practitioner to join their Athgarvan team. This is a full-time position 8am 3pm, 35 hours weekly in our morning Pre-school Program and lunch club. You will be working alongside another Early Years Educator in a warm friendly inclusive environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Role and duties would include:

Support the Preschool Teacher in an ECCE classroom of 11 childrenSupport the Preschool Teacher in the day to day running of the service, ensuring adherence to Early Scholars policies and proceduresAssist with daily planning, child observations and scrapbooks Excellent communication skills required to work alongside the key carer, families, children and staff.

The successful candidate must have

Requirements:

QQI Level 5 or 6 proof of certificate is required.Planned progression to QQI Level 7 an advantage2 signed referencesGarda Vetting will be processedFurther training provided including First Aid, Manual Handing and Fire Safety

Hours

8am - 3pm

Salary

Starting from 14 per hour depending on level of qualification
