AWS Cloud Solution Architect 196773 Desired skills: AWS, Cloud, Architecture, Consulting We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect to join a growing technology consulting team in Dublin. In this role, you'll work closely with major organisations to shape their cloud strategy and guide them through the design and delivery of secure, scalable AWS solutions.As a trusted technical advisor, you will collaborate with both business and engineering stakeholders, transforming requirements into well-architected cloud designs. You'll take ownership of solution quality, provide leadership to Agile delivery teams, and contribute to our internal knowledge communities by sharing best practices and emerging trends.What You'll DoDevelop end-to-end solution architectures that align business objectives with modern AWS services.Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to analyse requirements and translate them into actionable cloud designs.Operate across varied industries and solution areas, gaining exposure to a broad mix of technologies.Lead the technical direction for Agile teams and ensure architectural integrity throughout delivery.Produce clear design documents, diagrams, and technical proposals.Solve complex technical challenges by applying innovative cloud patterns and architectural thinking.Architect integrated solutions spanning packaged applications, custom systems, data platforms, and modern web technologies.Use cloud-native AI/ML tools to enhance automation, analytics, and intelligent decision-making.Support technology strategy, architecture governance, tool evaluations, and key technical decisions.Embed DevOps, CI/CD and automation best practices throughout solution designs.Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling to standardise and automate cloud environments.Assist clients in establishing FinOps processes to improve visibility and control of cloud costs.About YouYou'll bring:3+ years' experience in a similar cloud architecture or technical leadership role.Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS IaaS and PaaS, ideally supported by an AWS architecture certification (or a clear plan to obtain one).Proven experience designing and delivering complex cloud systems.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-engagement abilities.Broad exposure to integration patterns, infrastructure technologies, and multi-system architectures.Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, proposals, and architectural blueprints.Interest in emerging technologies and the ability to assess their relevance to client needs.Familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.Experience with project estimation, planning, or involvement in bid cycles is beneficial.Good understanding of DevOps pipelines and IaC tooling.Awareness of FinOps concepts and cloud cost optimisation strategies.A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
