Your New Role Your new role within the contactor will be paid by the hour to allow for financial benefit. You will operate in Dublin and the site location will be chosen to be as close to your home location as possible.As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a leading role on one of their major construction projects, taking ownership of all engineering functions and acting as the key point of contact for technical leadership, quality assurance, and site coordination.Working closely with your project manager and wider project team, you’ll ensure that the highest standards are maintained across all aspects of engineering, with a strong focus on planning, quality control, and temporary works management. Selection of site duties Lead engineering strategy and on-site technical controlProvide oversight for setting out, QA, record keeping, and engineering deliverablesCoordinate and manage temporary works and lifting operationsMentor and guide site engineers and graduatesEnsure compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and safety protocolsDevelop and review Inspection & Test Plans, method statements and risk assessmentsIdentify and resolve technical queries and RFIsDrive timely close out of non-conformances and maintain robust documentationWhat You'll Need to Succeed For the role, it is expected that you possess;Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or equivalent).Some forms of Temporary Works Coordinator training and scaffold awareness etc.You will have experience in construction site engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role What You'll Get in Return Working for this main contractor comes with a mix of professional development, strong company culture, and practical perks that many employees appreciate.
