Job Description

 We are hiring a Director of Nursing  for a Nursing Home in Co Clare,Ireland.
         Responsibilities

  • Clinical practice is monitored using personalised care plans for each resident.
  • Conducting internal audits and following up on the outcomes.
  • Staff induction is followed by continued training and development.
  • Encouragement of creative practices.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to Company and HIQA standards, processes, and recommendations.
  • Monitoring of administrative procedures. while the Administrator is absent.
  • Ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of the home is to the highest standard 


Requirements
  • Qualified RGN with at least 3 years’ experience in the last 6 years in care of the older person.
  • Post registration management qualification in health or a related field.
  • No less than 3 years’ experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area.
  • Registered on appropriate part of NMBI live register.
