Senior Site Engineer - Residential Construction Contractor - Dublin South, Dublin

Office/Project Location: Dublin South, Dublin

Employment Type: Permanent

Work Location:  Site Based

Pay: €65K-€75K, Negotiable depending on experience

Experience: 4+years

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is one of Ireland's leading Building Contractors with a number of commerical and fit out buildings projects in Dublin and have requirements for a number of site managers

They are seeking experienced Site Engineers at all levels of experience to work on projects in the Dublin Area. 

You will be overseeing and ensuring high level quality work and ensuring it complies with the regulations and the general and specific specifications of the project. 

You will also be working closely with the site personnel to deliver the project to the highest possible standard.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordination and supervision of all the engineering aspects throughout the project. The Site Engineer will work closely with the site personnel to deliver projects to the highest possible standard.

Setting-out from engineers’ drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings

Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.

Working with subcontractors/general workforce on site

Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved

Liaising with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate

Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.

Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.

Ordering and control of materials on site.

Maintaining the site records as required

Requirements

4+years’ relevant experience.

Completed a third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline

Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills

Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme

Strong IT Skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Full driving license

Package

€65K-€75K negotiable salary packages based on qualifications and industry experience
