Your new role
You will be part of a 6-person Finance Team, reporting to an experienced Financial Controller.
It is a very broad job that covers the following:
Assist in the month-end process including bank postings, accruals, fixed assets and prepayments. Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.Assist in preparing bi-monthly management accounts and reports. Assist in preparing the submissions of monthly tax returns (VAT, PAYE, RCT etc.).Assist the procurement team in accurate recording of purchase orders.Involved in the statutory audit process.Record credit card transactions and reconcile to monthly statements.Perform monthly vendor balance reconciliations to vendor statements. Assist finance team members with various tasks and projects as they arise.What you'll need to succeed
Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA) or qualified through experience. Ability to meet weekly / monthly deadlines.Ability to work flexibly on your own initiative and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and process.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Sound knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience working within a busy finance department.What you'll get in return
