Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Accounts Assistant with accounts payable experience to join our practice working with retail clients. The role involves managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.Liaise with suppliers to resolve payment issues.Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.Provide support during audits and assist with ad-hoc tasks.Key Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in accounts payable, ideally in a practice or retail setting.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel.High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, part-qualified ACCA/ACA) is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive salary.Career progression opportunities.Friendly and supportive team.Convenient location, 20 minutes west of Cork City.#CplCorkFin
