Your new companyOne of Ireland’s leading multidisciplinary consultancies dealing with a range of sectors, including Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Residential, Government & Commercial building is looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.They are a large organisation with an extremely healthy book of business for the next 3–5 years, and they are looking for this hire to be a part of growing this business even more. They offer good hybrid options and are in brand-new offices in North Dublin with free parking on site.Your new roleLeading smaller projects from inception to completionDeveloping, managing budgets and attending design team meetingsYou will be responsible for the design of HVAC and Utility systems & conducting on-site inspections.Ensuring that the designs are created in line with Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards and Health & Safety RegulationsSupporting IES, LEED and BREEAM projects would also be an advantage.What you will need to succeedStrong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering Services & DesignThird level diploma / degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environmentKnowledge & experience of current CIBSE and Ashrae Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN and IEC StandardsExperience of client, vendor & contractor interaction & managementProactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team.Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.What you will get in returnCompetitive salary.of €60k-€80kAccess to company healthcare and pension schemeFree parkingHybrid working optionsFlexible working hours.
